Sesi Fellowship and Skill Hub is a womxn-led and youth-led organisation operating in South Africa and targeting the adolescent girl child and womxn from all walks of life. The aim of the organisation is to address the lack of all round mentorship that exists in South Africa for adolescent girl children and to invest in professional and informal skill building of womxn so that they can compete successfully in the job market and to access socio-economic opportunities. Additionally, we also aim to drive a gender mission that advances gender equality through advocacy and campaigning. The organisation is a hybrid of a Fellowship, Skill Hub and a Gender Mission aspect. Sesi Fellowship is a yearlong fellowship program for adolescent girls completing their grade 12 that provides mentorship on their lifestyles and professional growth. Sesi Skill Hub is a mobile skill hub that aims to provide womxn with coaching to improve or learn new professional and informal skills that they will need to compete successfully in the economic space. Professional and informal skills including sports, public speaking, computer skills, entrepreneurial skills, digital skills, agricultural skills, coding, etc. Gender Mission uses advocacy and campaigning to advance gender equality and justice in all areas affecting adolescent girls and young womxn (AGYW) and womxn (inclusive of non-conforming individuals).

To address the lack of all round mentorship that exists in South Africa for adolescent girl children, to invest in professional and informal skill building of womxn for economic empowerment and to advances gender equality through advocacy and campaigning.

Our vision is to create sustainable change and impact that will drive success in the lives of womxn we interact with across South Africa.

Our mission is to lead growth amongst adolescent girls and womxn across South Africa by expanding on their access to opportunities, resources and information.
